About Heartland Poker Tour (HPT)

Heartland Poker Tour is a TV show which is broadcast on over 50 television stations and is the creation of Gary Lang and Todd Anderson from Fargo, North Dakota.

The concept is to hold several qualifier tournaments in different city's casinos at different times to give all poker players a chance to participate in tournaments with reasonably affordable buy-ins and large prize pools and also which can accomodate 500-600 players.

Because of the affordable buy-ins, amatuer players also have the potential to be captured in action on television simply by participating in these tournaments and making it to the final tables. Back to Poker News
