Stardust Poker Room closes

Stardust Poker Room closes to mark the future plans for a new Mega complex to replace the existing Stardust establishment.

Stardust Resort, which opened in 1958, will be replaced by a world-class resort called Echelon Place, scheduled to be open in 2010. The resort will be a combination of four hotels featuring 5,300 guest rooms and suites, 140,000 square foot casino, 25 restaurants and bars, a retail promenade, and a 4,000 seat theatre.

The planned hotel names are: Echelon Resort, Shangri-La Hotel, Delano Hotel, Mondrian Hotel
